This week we’ll be meeting at an earlier time to have a picnic and get to relax, connect and celebrate the great work we’re doing together. New people are very welcome. Feel free to invite friends, family and people you just met on the street! It will be in the Woodville Reserve near the playground but we’re still booking the Pavilion so we can use the facilities and in case it’s very hot on the day. Please bring something to eat to share and a gold coin (or more!) donation if you can as we still need to cover venue costs.
Perth North meetings are every Saturday afternoon, 2-5pm. Come and hear what XR is all about, meet other people who are part of it or are thinking of becoming part of it, hear about events coming up, learn how you can become part of the movement in so many different ways, learn and share all sorts of information and skills related building an effective movement, share your feelings about the climate emergency (if you wish to), have fun and get a sense of belonging and hope from knowing you’re not facing the crisis alone and can do something positive and powerful about it with others.
Everyone is welcome, including children. We have people who are ready, willing and able to play with/supervise your children if you’re comfortable with that.
Teas and coffees are available, a gold coin donation is appreciated to cover our costs. Please bring something to eat to share at cuppa time if you wish. Donations of teas/coffee are also welcome!
Please comment below to tell us if you’re bringing children and if you have any physical needs we may be able to assist with, or if you prefer you can email us at email@example.com. Unfortunately the venue is not wheel chair accessible, please let us know if this affects you. We are working on getting a ramp put in place or moving to a wheel chair accessible venue in the future. Until we get an accessible venue, we are happy to move temporarily to another venue we can use if we have 10 days notice that you want to come and need wheelchair access, very sorry for any inconvenience.
